If you're a software developer currently working on HTML-related applications and if you're interested in finding various solutions to help speed up your work, you can take a look at THTMLDialog.
It's a VCL component dedicated to Delphi and RAD Studio programmers who wish to add message dialogs with HTML formatting features to their products. The tool works with Delphi 7 and RAD Studio 10.2 Tokyo Professional, Enterprise and Architect, 10.1 Berlin, 10 Seattle, XE8-XE, 2010, 2009 as well as 2007.
For example, you can use the VCL module to put together colorful message boxes that support text shadow, font and background colors. It's also possible to create lists in HTML mode, insert anchors to websites or load images. Emails, folders and custom actions are featured too.
THTMLDialog is part of a larger bundle of extra VCL components designed for HTML, called TMS HTML Controls Pack. It's not possible to separately download and install THTMLDialog, so you have to get the whole package if you're interested. It includes a lot of nifty HTML utilities such as checkboxes and radio buttons.
Two types of licenses can be purchased when it comes to TMS HTML Controls Pack: for a single developer and for a team of unlimited developers working at the same website. Besides distinct files for Delphi 7 and each RAD Studio version, the bundle contains some demos.

We’ve put together this VCL module to satisfy the need for designers and developers who want to add simple yet powerful dialogs with HTML formatting to their products. It’s not possible to separate THTMLDialog from TMS VLC UI Pack, so you have to install it together with everything else (there is no complete standalone version available). It includes a lot of handy HTML utilities that can be used to customize user interface elements (checkboxes, radio buttons and file dialogs).

A large number of design modes:
The basic dialog supports traditional HTML for its message fields. You can use the HTML code directly or you can create dialogs based on the TMS VLC UI Pack’s components. In this way, you have a lot of flexibility at the cost of HTML formatting. One of the best things about the HTML engine in THTMLDialog is its text support, so the dialog’s text can be used for both the message and the title.
HTML Style Sheet Dialog:
The HTML Style Sheet dialog doesn’t require any HTML code, so it’s perfect for users who don’t know HTML. You can edit the dialog’s appearance and change the message’s background color, font and text alignment. A library of HTML styles is also supported.
HTML Template Dialog:
In this mode, all message fields are replaced by HTML tags and you can either use a pre-defined template or create one yourself. It’s a great tool for users who have a basic knowledge of HTML.
HTML Format Dialog:
In this mode, the title is replaced by an HTML formatted message, and you can easily insert text, images, lists, hyperlinks, anchors or anything else. It’s possible to use the dialog’s engine or include custom HTML. This is the most flexible of the design modes, so it’s especially useful for users who need to create HTML that can be used for everything.
HTML Font Dialog:
The dialog supports HTML-based font formatting, so it’s perfect for editors and designers. It’s also very easy to insert styles to change a font’s size or color.

Important note: The first attempt to install VLC for Linux failed. Don’t try to run the installer. You might get your video files corrupted!
Instead, you need to download the video extraction library wxVLC (available for Ubuntu 14.04 and later) and the video player “Kdenlive” (available in Ubuntu 16.04 and later) from the official website of each program. Then, run Kdenlive, open a video file and check the new “Video” tab. The video will be extracted and you can see it in the window.
When you want to play it (and you just need to play it), just press “Play” and you’ll be able to see the video on the “Video” tab.
