Officers were called to the strip mall, in the 5800 block of Chatham Road, shortly after midnight Wednesday, said Brookfield Police Department Cmdr. Nate Molloy. They spotted a car allegedly speeding in and out of parking spaces, and saw the driver drive into the parking lot a second time.
The officers tried to pull the car over at West Oak Street and Middle Road shortly before 1 a.m., but the driver continued into an Armonk neighborhood, where he turned off his lights and took several sharp turns, Molloy said.
It was then that a bullet pierced the driver’s chest, sending him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver’s identity was not immediately released, and no arrest has been made.
Detectives from multiple departments are looking into the case.

One of the most common computer/software features we use is our web browser. Some of us use it in the traditional manner while others might prefer a certain feature, or maybe use their computer in a different way.
My girlfriend is an avid social media user who was really mad about the sudden loss of her beloved Facebook. That’s when I came up with an idea for an application that will make Facebook much more efficient and useful.
The app is called Facebook Killer. I bought the name for a small fee and it doesn’t have any serious purpose. But I do think that you’ll find that Facebook is much more convenient now. It’s not just about having the program around, it’s more about having the same powers Facebook has.
You can see the app yourself at the link below. I have to say, it’s not very user friendly or intuitive but I am pretty sure you’ll find it totally worth the money. You’ll have to buy the application though as it’s not free.
If I was using it for myself, I’d definitely use it more. The app opens the Facebook app when you click the icon in the taskbar. But the fun starts when you click the icon in the app tray.
