BACKGROUND: The last time we heard from the Los Angeles nine-piece, they premiered a string of singles, none of which took, but all of which did their jobs. “Jealousy” was the most memorable of the bunch, though, a tightly wound power-pop slice that lived up to the band’s punkish reputation. As it turns out, not many changes needed to be made, with the exception that drummer Gil Sharone has taken it upon himself to do more than just back-up and distribute Watt’s righteous anger: he also brings to bear a loose, jazz-based polyrhythmic groove that almost perfectly complements Watt’s urgency. Things often get quite subtle here, which is a good thing, as Watt isn’t so much trying to put the same song with the same intensity over and over again as he is appealing to the more cerebral, abstracting type of listener, and that’s part of what makes “Divided And Conquered” works so well. It also doesn’t hurt that the man behind the kit can really, really play! But we’ve come to expect that from Watt by this point.

Overall it’s an interesting concept and the combat system is really fun. A great mixture between exploration and combat, the story is told very well through the use of text and voice acting. Unfortunately, I also feel like it is one of the shortest RPGs I’ve played. There’s also not much to do after you’ve finished your story quest. My Review 5/10

This game must be played as a stealth-action game. It has elements of RPG, and that’s the extent of it. As I said, the game is not too fondly remembered.
RPGs used to be quite the thing and for a while it seemed that was the way things were going. But nowadays the concept is mostly gone in favour of “bigger is better” and “more graphics to be the trend” and well.
Gameplay: Stealth vs Point-A-Click
There is a lot of stealth. The game takes that as its theme, as is expected of a modern day stealth-action game. You have to move around and move around fast. Don’t move from place to place as is the RPG tradition and that would be an easy way to die, as you’d be vulnerable the whole time.
