Update: We certainly dont envy the developers of this new title, but after playing through the initial part of the mission we can say we love every minute of the gameplay. The controls are simple, and map selection is quick. “Crouch” and “Jump” occupy your thumbstick on the left and right-hand side of the controller, respectively, and you can even peruse the scenery with the D-pad. One addition we really like is that you can slide on the ground to adjust your position, so if an AI has you surrounded in a tight area you can move and just flip over to avoid taking damage. Aesthetically, little touches like the health bar glowing in red when you have no more life or the ultra-detailed menus to assist you in your ascension are lovely.You can enable detailed modes, and get the closest thing to a HUD that this game has so far.
