Action Battle

The action battle is a straightforward and fast-paced battle. After the battle starts, the action gauge is expanded on the enemy portrait and the enemy boss portrait. During battle, you can select commands in various situations, and various characters will help you out according to your commands.

Each action is performed by consecutively selecting commands such as attack (normal), attack (super), jump, etc.

These are the four battle situations:

(1) Normal battle:

Press/Hold→Attack: When you select Attack, the action gauge will be expanded on the enemy portrait.

Press/Hold→Jump: When you select Jump, you can perform one of the four actions (Normal, Forward, Backward, and Special).

(2) Attacking battle:

While pressing/holding the Attack button, perform a special action called Attack in addition to the normal attack.

(3) Defending battle:

While pressing the Attack button, perform the action called Attacks, and also maintain the defense status of this battle.

(4) Counterattack battle:

While pressing the Attack button, perform a special action called Counter Attack in addition to the normal attack.

You can block while the action gauge is expanded, so it becomes easier to attack.

In each battle situation, you can select an action by a combination of the pressing and holding of the A button. Note that in the normal battle, the following four actions can be performed: attack (normal), attack (super), jump, and special action. The special action is a special action for certain attacks which can not normally be performed in a single button press. You can also select the special action from the options after pressing the A button and selecting a command.
