The game world is divided into human-inhabited villages, locations, and more wilderness. You can choose to be a town guard or a wandering adventurer — adventure in other players’ towns or travel and aid factions and villages in the wild.
The game features five playable classes: Warrior, Wizard, Rogue, Archer, and Demon, each with their own unique set of skills, paragon paths, and story arcs. Additional classes and races, including the elven Rune Knight, Halfling Rogue, and Dwarven Cleric, will be released with future updates.
Gameplay will be turn-based, with both real-time and action-based mechanics available. Action-based combat is turn-based, enabling players to execute strategy and tactics to make the most of their position, attack a target, or block incoming blows.

In a dusty town in the western United States, a man by the name of Railey and two others find an old magical book that has been cursed by witch Hayat. The book contains a spell to bring back an ancient guild and they are the only ones who can do it.
Unfortunately for the guild though, Hayat is one of the old witchy sort who likes to pay back people for their kindness by using them as bait to attract others to her side. It so happens that Railey and the other two have been a big help to her before. Railey, however, having the charisma of a red-headed Irishman and a foul temper, isn’t terribly popular.
After Hayat uses Railey’s farm as a way to lure others to her side, she uses the book to enslave him, his two friends, and himself to work for her guild. It’s not until Hayat gets Railey to talk to his former friend, who happens to be a powerful magic user and who Hayat has no use for, that the guild and Railey realise they’ve been duped.
Railey’s friends don’t believe him and aren’t terribly happy to see him leave and this leads him to the town where he and the other cursed from Hayat. Here he learns that he is one of the Elden Lord race, which is essentially humans with a few super-powers, and he must retrieve an Elden ring that Hayat stole from him.
Since Hayat is the world’s leader in the realm of magic, Railey’s high-level magic abilities and Hayat’s own high-level inescapability of traps make this a tough time for them both. In the end though, Railey and his friends are given back their powers and finally unshackled from Hayat’s grasp.
With Hayat defeated and his guild destroyed, the new Elden lords of the world and Railey and his friends set forth on a journey to bring back the old guild and the Elden ring from the lands between so that they can use it to make sure Hayat doesn’t rise again.
If you’re looking for something that feels like an upgraded version of the first game in the series, this title may be for you. The story is interesting and the game world is intriguing
