    As much as I would like to applaud this game for its unique feature of seamlessly connecting independent levels via a shared main courtyard, and for being one of the rare games to implement a shared main courtyard instead of corridor cross-connectivity, its gameplay is far too inconsistent and shallow, and the download data size is absolutely outrageous (570Mb!!) to call this a steal. The interface is ugly, its main gameplay system is downright stultifying, and the fact that it’s kind of a point-and-click kind of game doesn’t bother me at all (I have my reservations about it actually becoming a standard point-and-click game mechanic, but that’s neither here nor there). The sound and music in this game are repetitive and annoying, and the customizations are too minimal for me to get excited about. If you’re on the fence about buying this title, I’m sorry to say but this game will not be saving you any money. Go look for something else. The GAMEPLAY: [#18 The gameplay is… devoid of life. It’s… extremely repetitive, and the free-flowing atmosphere of the title is a total disaster of a mechanic that never works. You travel freely between areas all the time, but what does it actually mean? What do you do once you reach your destination? You can fast-travel (which is useful for the sake of saving time, but doesn’t actually improve the overall gameplay experience), but what do you do when you get there? The music and sound in the game are fine, but they’re not… a feature of the game itself. They are simply there to fill some content for when the game is idle. That said, the graphics are pretty good, and I feel the character designs for this game are really well done. The magic system seems to be fairly generic (if interesting), and I’m really not a big fan of the weak-ass character stats. The music and sound are fine, but I’m a gamer, not a music & sound person. I’m a content-creating person who happens to own games. The SEQUEL: I’m a fan of story-driven games, and this title came as a total surprise to me as a point-and-click game.
