The Html Directory is an easy to use program that you can use to create HTML lists of files and folders on any drive in your computer.
The directory list is created in HTML and then saved in TXT format. It can then be opened with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc.
An example of what the directory list looks like in Internet Explorer is shown here. The image “directory_list.jpg” is an example of the background image chosen.
Of course, the program allows you to create your directory lists with any names you like. It also allows you to add the drive(s) used in the creation of the directory list. The drive(s) you choose can be added manually or automatically if you use your keyboard (ie. “SHIFT” key). The program also allows you to include or exclude directories, sub-directories and files when you create your directory list. The program will show you the size of the directory and the number of items. The number of items automatically increases as the directory list is created. You can also optionally use a background image for your directory list. Simply choose your image, then click on “Add button” to insert the image into your directory list.
So you see, no programming skills are required to use this simple to use, powerful utility.
