Shadowy Contracts is a hybrid of stealth and RPG, similar to the genre of Empire: Total War and the RPG genre of Fallout 3. In Shadowy Contracts you are hired as a mercenaries to complete jobs. Shadowy Contracts have no “windows” as you would in Assassins Creed. Each contract can be completed in a number of ways, depending on your team and how fast you can clear the contract.

The contract will reward you with gold, which in turn you can spend to purchase new weapons and items from your inventory. You can also spend gold to hire more mercenaries to assist you in completing contracts.

Each mercenary can be controlled independently or each mercenary can be controlled by an assigned hero. The hero can also perform special actions on the battlefield, as well as gold grab.

In Shadowy Contracts you are able to build up your character and use the talents on the talent tree to gain and upgrade your skills and abilities to play more “blitz” style during battle.

Gameplay Resources:

What makes Shadowy Contracts different from Assassins Creed, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas are your skills. These skills allow you to perform new actions outside of simply marching forward, such as blocking and running, and also learning new abilities and spells.

Characters start off with 8 abilities, and then they can unlock abilities on the talent tree to learn special moves or spells. These special abilities are unlocked when you first unlock that ability in that branch of the tree. The number of abilities you can have depends on how much gold you can spend.

Shadowy Contracts features a battle system that is similar to the game of Warcraft 3, except with all ranged weapons. Instead of controlling individual units like in Warcraft, you control the hero unit at the center of your team and that hero unit commands a group of 3 units. You can change which units you use to focus on particular “teams” to win a battle. Only heroes and mercenaries can be used on the battlefield in battle.

GAME FEATURES:

Different contract levels with their own enemy, loot, and upgrades.

Ability Tree for experience and skill upgrades.

Battle system is similar to Warcraft 3, but unlike Warcraft you control the hero unit at the center of your team.

Character Customization allows you to freely set your character appearance.

Storyline is about 6 hours long, for both the story mode, and a New Game+ Mode.
